Rebuilding safer homes

After teaching carpenters Build Back Safer methods, Handicap International is implementing the construction of 1,200 houses or “core shelters” in Capiz and Leyte provinces. Two hundred of them are in Pastrana, Leyte.

In the slideshow below, carpenters and residents of Pastrana work together to build new homes — their homes.
