Clearing debris, rekindling hope

From January to April this year, 900 people in Leyte took part in Handicap International’s Cash for Work Project.

The program hired vulnerable persons (including persons with disabilities) to help clear debris in schools, multi-purpose courts, ditches, and other critical community facilities.

Below are photos from those sunny days that certainly kindled cheer and hope:
